How do I disable call waiting?

If you have had difficulty as a result of incoming calls dropping your Internet connection, try disabling call waiting while you surf.

To disable call waiting:
  • Double-click the 'My Computer' icon on you desktop.
  • Double-click the 'Dial-up Networking' icon.
  • Select BellSouth® Internet Service icon.
  • Type "*70," in front of your dial-in number.
  • Click OK.
